Mercedes-Benz has announced a series of updates for its E-Class range, its LINGUATRONIC system has been updated to provide a high-end experience on-board.

The system allows the vehicle functions to be vocally controlled and recognises up to 450 voice commands, depending on language, which are designed to be simple, intuitive and natural as possible.These include the air conditioning functions, for example.

When the vehicle is equipped accordingly, blower level, temperature and seat heating can be controlled conveniently by voice command, with no need for drivers to take their hands off the steering wheel or their eyes off the traffic. The same also goes for the rear window heater and various comfort and lighting functions.

The new Mercedes-Benz SD map navigation package is designed for the Audio 20 system with 12.3-inch media display, featuring precise real-time traffic data (“Live Traffic Information”).
